Book Review: Bar Flower

Night Storm by Catherine Coulter
An easy summer read about the daughter of a shipyard owner rejected by early 1800's Maryland society because she, in a most unladylike fashion, runs the shipyard for her ailing father. His will upon his death forces her to marry a wealthy British Baron and sell the shipyard to him or be tossed adrift pennyless and alone..Although billed as the third book of the "Night Triolgy", this book (as the two before it) is entirely independent of the others, only the historic timeframe in common. The main characters of each book make only a cameo appearance in the other two books and are not really interwoven in any substantial way.
