Title: Wolf Hall
Genre: Adult Fiction
Author: Mantel, Hilary
Rating: 5

Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book in spite of its size and my lack of knowledge on the subject - England under the reign of Henry VIII. Instead of focusing on King Henry and Anne Boleyn, Mantel gives us Thomas Cromwell, a man of very common roots who rose from smithy's son to being the right hand man to Cardinal Woolsey and, later, Henry. The author keeps us up with the characters, give a gentle reminder who they are if we haven't seen them in a while. If you are looking for a well-written historical novel, look for Wolf Hall.
