A Patron Review: A New Earth
Eckhart Tolle
Rating: 5/5
Review: A very simply written manual on how to make the world a better place, by making you a better person. It is repetitive and drawn out, but the message is so important that it needs to be repeated over and over.

Review: What a wonderful yet heart wrenching book. I saw the movie but reading th enovel puts you so much more inside the authors head. I actually cried after reading certain parts like when they said their goodbyes to kate but she survived. Then after the whole trial was done that Anna ended up passing in a car crash and Kate got her kidney afterall.

A Patron Review: Cheech & Chong
Genre: Biography
Author: Chong, Tommy
Rating: 5/5
Review: Tommy Chong illuminates the career he shared with his lifetime friend Richard "Cheech" Marin in this compelling and inviting piece of literature. Chong lures you into the depths of the Cheech & Chong time line while simultaneously exposing the truth behind each and every step to fame. But not all is easy in the business of making jokes, as they soon realize with the lack of money, lack of notoriety, and quite plainly just the lack of. With his use of vibrant detail and description, Chong practically has you sitting there next to Cheech and him while they work together to complete their critically acclaimed chronicles. Chong reveals to the audience much more than just his claim to fame as he proceeds to disclose the many relationships he's had with women as well as the crumbling relationship with Cheech. The Cheech & Chong legacy is one to be truly relived throughout the pages of this book and I highly suggest it to anyone interested in reading a true hero's journey.

Rating: 5
Review: Very good book by Jenna Blum. I read the entire thing in one day. Couldn't put it down. Takes place in Germany during WWII and then in America in the 1990's. It's about a German woman who falls in love with a Jewish doctor. Really opened my eyes to some of the atrocities that took place during the Holocaust.

Rating: 5
Review: Another great novel by Jodi Picoult. She always manages to get me to put myself in the places of the characters and wonder what I would do in their situations. In this one the main character is a District Attorney whose 5 year old son is molested. Although you know that the measures she takes are not right, you can also understand her choice.

Title: Miracle on the 17th Green
Genre: Adult Fiction
Author: James, Patterson
Rating: 5
Review: Have you ever felt the "gorilla of self-loathing" on your back only to realize at some point in your life that you are not better or worse than anyone else but just as good. Once you realize you are "good enough" do you shy away from being good at what you do in embarrassment? This book is so much more. It's refreshing to read a Patterson book that's not a thriller filled with brutal killings. Instead, Miracle on the 17th Green is a simple, short, fast-read seemingly about golf but it's really more about life. Travis loses his job and decides to live out his dream -to become a pro-golfer. Is living the dream really the only important aspect of your life? This book is about love, family and chasing your dream and sometimes...living it.

Title: A Mercy
Genre: Adult Fiction
Author: Morrison, Tony
Rating: 3
Review: Tony Morrison , as always, is exquisite with words, however, this particular novel is fragmented, confusing and seemingly pointless. Maybe her point was to time capsule an era with all of its characters, issues and events. If that was her purpose, then she achieved it. This was not my favorite.
